An Olympic competitor twice, Ragga Ragnars is a sports fanatic. She gave up swimming to pursue acting, and today she is recognized for her portrayal of Gunnhild in Michael Hirst’s historical drama television series Vikings.

At the Athens 2004 Summer Olympics, 19-year-old Icelandic swimmer Ragga Ragnars made her Olympic debut. She qualified for two swimming events by recording 50 m and 100 m freestyle B-standard entry speeds of 26.34 and 56.74, respectively.

At the Beijing Summer Olympics in 2008, she qualified for a second time. The FINA B-cuts for the Dutch Open Swim Cup in Eindhoven and the FINA World Championships in Melbourne, respectively, were 56.06 and 25.95 for her.

Kévin Pagès and Dani Guindo, two outstanding members of the Nomadict family, portray Ragga Ragnars, an Olympic swimmer and actress from Iceland. Ragga began swimming when she was six years old, and at the age of eight, she decided that she wanted to compete in the Olympics. Ragga competed in swimming at the Olympics in Beijing (2008) and Athens (2004), and she gave birth in 2013.
