Brett Goldstein made his debut as Hercules in Thor: Love and Thunder’s mid-credits scene, with the character set to hunt down the God of Thunder in a future instalment.

Taika Waititi, director of Thor 4, spoke with Uproxx about Hercules’ historic MCU debut and Goldstein’s involvement in the long-running franchise.
Waititi, who also plays Korg in the sequel, revealed that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige made the decision to cast Goldstein as Hercules.
Waititi also stated that he is unsure about Hercules’ MCU future, claiming that the tease at the end is for “future Thor movies or something entirely different:”

Furthermore, the fact that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige handpicked the actor to play Hercules in the MCU says a lot about his potential.
Brett Goldstein is best known for his role as Roy Kent in Apple TV’s Ted Lasso, for which he won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
