Who is Natalia Grace and what happened to her?

Natalia Grace is a Ukrainian orphan who was adopted on April 26, 2010, by Michael and Kristine Barnett.

Michael and Kristine were charged in September 2019 with neglect of a dependent, neglect of a dependent causing bodily harm and conspiracy to commit neglect of a dependent.

The alleged abandonment occurred when the Barnett family relocated to Canada in July 2013, leaving Natalia behind in Lafayette. The charges against Michael were dropped on October 28, 2022.

According to documents obtained by DailyMailTV, Judge Gerald S. Zore accepted the couple’s allegations as “true” and changed Natalia’s birth date to September 4, 1989, bringing her age from eight to 22.

Natalia was 21 years old when the Barnett family adopted her in 2010, despite the fact that they thought she was six. According to In Touch Weekly, Natalia Grace is still alive and is thought to be living in Indiana.

In November 2019, she appeared on Dr Phil with a family who took her in after she was placed in their flat.

Antwon and Cynthia Mans said during the interview they were not concerned about her in any way. Cynthia said at the time: “We have other children. We have a grandson. “[Natalia] does nothing but love her siblings and her nephew.”
