Mike Sullivan, a seasoned football coach, currently quarterbacks the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL.
A U.S. Military Academy graduate, Sullivan’s football journey began as a two-year letterman, excelling as a defensive back in 1989.

With coaching stints at Humboldt State, Army, Youngstown State, Ohio, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Denver Broncos. He’s earned respect in college and professional football.

From 2004 to 2009, Sullivan shaped talent as the New York Giants’ wide receivers coach, later transitioning to quarterbacks coach from 2010 to 2011.
The pinnacle of his coaching career occurred as offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2012 to 2013.
In 2021, the Steelers enlisted Sullivan’s expertise as quarterbacks coach.
Following the November 21, 2023 firing of offensive coordinator Matt Canada, Sullivan assumed the role of primary play-caller for the season’s remainder.
