Who Is Mike Comrie’s Dad?

Canadian millionaire business man, Bill Comrie, is the father of former NHL ice hockey player, Mike Comrie.

Bill is the founder and CEO of Canada’s largest furniture retailer, The Brick.

The Brick is also a retailer in mattresses, home appliances and electronics.

Bill was born on June 29, 1950, in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was raised in Edmonton, Alberta.

Bill has also been a hockey player, little wonder he birthed three sons – Mike, Paul and Eric Comrie – who turned out to be hockey players as well.

During his days in junior high school, Bill played hockey with the Moose Jaw Canucks, and the Edmonton Oil Kings.

He later retired from the game in 1968 to begin his furniture business.

Bill is a grandfather. His grandson’s name is Luca.

Who is Mike Comrie?

Mike played ice hockey for the National Hockey League (NHL) for 13 years across various teams such as the Edmonton Oilers, Philadelphia Flyers, Phoenix Coyotes, Ottawa Senators, New York Islanders, and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

He retired in 2012 following series of hip surgeries.
