Marina Ovsyannikova is a Russian television producer who worked for Channel One Russia. In 2022, she disrupted a Russian TV news broadcast to protest the Russian-Ukrainian war, which made international headlines.

Ovsyannikova was born in Russia to a Russian mother and a Ukrainian father. Ovsyannikova received her bachelor’s degree from Kuban State University and her master’s degree from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
Marina was employed at the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. She gave an interview to the Russian news website Yuga.ru in 2002.
