Who is Madhuri Dixit Husband Shriram Madhav Nene?

Shriram Madhav Nene is a board-certified surgeon and a healthcare innovator who is the husband of Indian actress Madhuri Dixit.

The couple got married on October 17, 1999, in a traditional ceremony held at Dixit’s elder brother’s home in Southern California, amidst media speculation about her personal life. Nene had never seen any of her films and had no idea she was famous.

Madhuri Dixit explained their relationship by saying, “It was very important that he didn’t know me as an actress because then he would know me as a person first. When people have seen you as an actress, they have preconceived notions… None of it was there here with him. I found the right person, I wanted to get married and I did.”

Madhuri Dixit and Nene’s wedding reception in Mumbai was attended by several prominent Indian personalities.

Shriram Madhav began his career as a Thoracic and Vascular Surgeon in Denver, Colorado. He was appointed director of Cardiovascular Services at Skyridge Hospital in Lone Tree, Colorado, in 2010.

In 2011, he moved to India to begin his entrepreneurial journey, co-founding RnM Moving Pictures with his wife, Madhuri Dixit, a platform-agnostic digital media and content creation company.
