Ernestine Campbell is a former American secretary from Washington DC. Richard met Ernestine Harvin at an evangelical demonstration in 1957. They dated before marrying in July 1959. In 1964, their marriage ended.
During their marriage, the couple adopted Danny Jones, a one-year-old son from a church associate. Richard and his son remained close, and Jones eventually became Richard’s bodyguard.
