Who is Kevin Garcia Valdovinos? ‘Stalker’ arrested outside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s home

In the early hours of Tuesday, May 16, 2023, morning, a man suspected of stalking Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was apprehended outside the couple’s home in Santa Barbara County, California.

According to TMZ, Kevin Garcia Valdovinos, 29, was seen “lurking” outside the mansion in Montecito at around 2 a.m. and was arrested on misdemeanour stalking charges after police arrived. Valdovinos was released on $2,500 bail, according to TMZ.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as their children Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, one, were not at home at the time of the incident. They attended a  Foundation gala in New York City on Tuesday evening, where Ms Markle received the 2023 Women of Vision Award for her advocacy work on behalf of women, thanking Gloria Steinem, who presented her with the award, for providing “inspiration.”

The couple previously had an intruder on their property in December 2020, when a man named Nikolas Brooks, 37, was caught trespassing on Christmas Eve 2022 and given a warning. On Boxing Day, he returned to the property and was arrested for trespassing.
