Steven Piet is a director, producer and writer . He is the husband of American actress Joey King.

Joey King met her husband Steven Piet on the set of Hulu’s 2019 drama series The Act.  The pair made their red carpet debut as a couple at an Emmy party in September 2019.

Since going public with their relationship, King has posted photos of Piet on her Instagram on a regular basis. Steven Piet proposed to the Joey in 2022. They got married on September 2, 2023, in Spain.

Steven Piet was born in Chicago and attended Savannah College of Art and Design to study film. Piet returned to his hometown after college to work in the production industry before moving to Hollywood.

Piet directed episodes of Channel Zero, Briarpatch, and The Act, in which his wife Joey King featured as Gipsy Rose Blanchard. He also co-wrote and directed the indie film Uncle John in 2015, and he was a co-executive producer on The Act and Briarpatch.
