Joe Schoen took over from Dave Gettleman.

Joe Schoen was the first candidate among nine interviewees to be called up for the in-person interview for the GM position at the New York Giants.

Joe Schoen Schoen is a native of Elkhart, Indiana, who graduated from DePauw University in 2001 with a communications degree.

Joe Schoen was previously an assistant general manager for the Buffalo Bills.

Joe Schoen’s professional journey in the NFL began as a ticket office intern for Carolina Panthers in 2000.

During Joe Schoen’s  7 seasons (2001-2007) with the Panthers, he served as a scouting assistant and then as a southeast and southwest scout under the current Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Beane.

Joe Schoen joined Miami Dolphins in 2008 and remained on the team before signing with Bills in 2017.

Joe Schoen has been involved in the NFL for over two decades.
