Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a film and television actor from the United States. Jeffrey Dean Morgan has joined the cast of Amazon’s The Boys as a recurring guest star for Season 4. Details about the character he will play are being kept under wraps.

Morgan’s work on the series will reunite him with Supernatural creator Eric Kripke, who also serves as The Boys’ showrunner.

“Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a superfan of the show, so he and I are talking,” Kripke recently told E! News of his efforts to secure Morgan’s participation in the new season. We’re working on something for season four.

Nothing is finalized yet, but he and I are chatting and e-mailing to see if we can work it around his hectic schedule. So keep an eye out for that.”

Morgan’s casting has been a long time coming, with the actor publicly expressing his enthusiasm for the show on Twitter back in 2020 and agreeing to Kripke’s offer to come over for Season 3 if he was available.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is best known for his in the CW fantasy horror series Supernatural (2005-2007; 2019),  Grey’s Anatomy (2006-2009) and Negan in the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead (2016-present).
