Who Is Jack Ginnivan? Collingwood Football Club’s rising AFL star suspended after taking illicit drugs

Australian rules footballer, Jack Ginnivan has been suspended after he was caught at in a hotel bathroom using illicit substance in January 2023. He has been given a two-game ban after he admitted using drugs on a day off while he was hanging out with his friends and other Magpie teammates.

“I went into the cubicle and obviously taken an illicit substance. Obviously a few drinks, a lack of judgement at the time. I can’t really speak on why I did it. When I walked into the bathroom I didn’t think someone would be videoing me. It’s obviously a private place. I can imagine anyone else getting videoed in a bathroom would be pretty uncomfortable,” he said.

This is the second time the Collingwood young man has made the headlines. His previous offense was when a video of him and his teammate Isaac Quaynor, rating women, went viral on the internet and caused a public stir. He came out publicly to apologize.
