Jane Menelaus is an Australian actress who trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England. She has appeared in several stage productions, including The Winter’s Tale with the State Theatre Company of South Australia in 1987, and Troilus and Cressida for the Old Museum Building in 1989.

Jane Menelaus has been married to Geoffrey Rush since 1988. They have two children together, a daughter named Angelica (born 1992) and a son named James (born 1995).

Geoffrey Rush was named the 2012 Australian of the Year. Geoffrey Rush made his Broadway debut in the absurdist comedy Exit the King in 2009, where he received a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his performance.
