Francesco Farioli, an adept figure in Italian football management, has recently assumed the role of head coach for Ligue 1’s Nice.

Farioli started as a goalkeepers coach with Margine Coperta from 2009 to 2011.
His subsequent coaching roles includes tenures at Fortis Juventus and Lucchese. His journey took an international turn when he joined the esteemed Aspire Academy in Qatar, contributing to the development of the nation’s U16 team.
Upon his return to Italy, Farioli assumed the role of goalkeeper coach with Benevento during the 2017–18 season.

A pivotal moment in Farioli’s career unfolded in the 2020–21 season when he took on the role of assistant manager at Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super League.
Under his guidance, the team’s outstanding performance propelled them to the league’s summit.
On March 21, 2021, Farioli was appointed head coach of Fatih Karagümrük, another Turkish Super League club, making him the youngest football manager in a European professional league.
In a strategic move in December 2021, Farioli returned to his former club, Alanyaspor, this time as the manager.
In 2023, Farioli took charge at Nice in Ligue 1, entrusted with guiding the French club for a two-year tenure.
