Elijah Blue’s father is Gregg Allman, a renowned American musician celebrated for his soulful vocals and bluesy guitar expertise.

Born in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1947, Allman gained prominence as a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, shaping Southern rock with hits like “Ramblin’ Man” and “Whippin’ Post.”
Allman’s life has traversed the realms of music, matrimony, and tragedy. Co-writing and singing alongside his late brother Duane, who tragically died in a 1971 motorcycle accident, deeply impacted him.

Battling alcoholism and drug addiction, Allman faced health challenges and personal turmoil.

Greg passed away in 2017, at age 69.
