American actor Edward Sonnenblick has left a great mark on Indian cinema and television with his unique journey from the kitchens of America to the glitz and glamor of Bollywood.

Born in 1980, Sonnenblick initially pursued a career as a natural foods chef, armed with a degree in botany.
However, his fascination with Bollywood films and Indian culture led him to master the Hindi language and take a leap of faith by relocating to Mumbai in 2008 to chase his acting dreams.

His debut in the 2008 film “Dostana” marked the beginning of a remarkable career, but it was his portrayal of villainous British twins in the historical TV series “Jhansi Ki Rani” that catapulted him to wider recognition.

Sonnenblick’s fluency in Hindi and convincing accent have seen him effortlessly portray British characters in various films, including “Firangi,” “Veere Di Wedding,” and “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.”
Not content with just the silver screen, Sonnenblick has also graced television shows such as “Bose Dead or Alive” and “The Kapil Sharma Show,” showcasing his versatility as an actor. Additionally, he has displayed his comedic chops as a host on the travel series “Indipedia.”
Married to Indian actress Sonal Mehta, with whom he shares a child, Sonnenblick’s journey serves as a testament to his passion, dedication, and ability to bridge cultures.
