Don Imus began his first radio job, at KUTY, in Palmdale, California in 1968. He landed the morning broadcast position at WNBC, in New York City three years later.

Deidre Imus was named to the board of directors of the National Autism Association on May 7, 2007. She was one of four women to receive the National Audubon Society’s annual Rachel Carson Award for Women in Conservation.

Deidre Imus has made appearances in Form, Space & Murder in 1997, Watchers Reborn and One Tough Cop. She also helped in Directing Eddie in 2001.
