David Banda is the adopted son of the famous American singer, Madonna and her then-husband, Guy Richie. David is now a promising footballer. He was adopted from a nursing home in Malawi.

David’s biological father was Yohane Banda. His biological father abandon him when he was born because his mother passed on.

David was abandoned in the nursing home after his mother died. Later, he was handed over to an orphanage located in the district of Mchinji. It was a month later that Madonna visited the orphanage and decided to adopt him because he was in bad shape.
