Billy Strings is an award-winning American guitarist and bluegrass musician whose album Home won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2021. Billy Strings has released several albums under different record labels.

Billy Strings was previously signed to Rounder Records, a bluegrass label that he joined in 2019. He released his Grammy-winning album, “Home”, his Grammy-nominated album, “Renewal”, and his cover album with his father, “Me/And/Dad”, through Rounder Records.

However, in 2023, Billy Strings teased new music on Reprise Records, a label that is home to artists like Neil Young, Green Day, and My Chemical Romance.

Bluegrass Situation named him a scene tastemaker in 2016. Billy Strings has appeared on famous PBS musical TV programs Austin City Limits and Bluegrass Underground.
Billy Strings has toured with Greensky Bluegrass, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, I’m With Her, Cabinet and others. He also collaborated with Molly Tuttle on the songs “Sittin’ on Top of the World” and “Billy in the Lowground”.
Rolling Stone named Strings one of the Top Ten New Country Artists to Know in 2017. The International Bluegrass Music Association awarded him with the Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year award in 2016.
