Pascal Jansen is the current football manager of dutch club AZ Alkmaar.

Jansen grew up in Zaandam, after his family moved from his birthplace, London, to the Netherlands few decades ago.
He currently holds Dutch and British citizenship.

In recent time, there has been an ongoing negotiation by Rangers FC to hire Jansen to replace English football manager Michael Beale.

However, conclusions are yet to be made because Jansen had already signed a contract extension with AZ which will expire in 2025.
Jansen had played youth football with the teams AZ, Ajax, Haarlem, and Telstar.
He retired from football before turning professional, due to severe knee injuries.
Jansen began his managerial career in 2015, with the Eindhoven club Jong PSV. In 2020, he began coaching Eredivisie side AZ, and was later promoted to the position of manager.
He has additionally coached other teams in the Netherlands at “Haarlem, Vitesse and Sparta Rotterdam, and in the United Arab Emirates with Al Jazira and Al Wahda.”
