Austin Lyle has been identified as the suspect who shot 2 faculty members at Denver East High School. His description was shared as a black male who is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt when he was last seen.

“At the time of the shooting, Lyle was undergoing a regular morning search before he entered the school. This was part of a safety plan arrangement established with him due to prior behavioral issues. He previously never brought in a weapon, until Wednesday. The shooting took lace at a front office of the school and away from other students and staff,” reports stated.

He had been expelled from another district for weapons. After this current incident he fled from the scene, clearly escaping arrest.
