Nick Allott was the husband of a television presenter, broadcaster, journalist and painter Anneka Rice.

Rice and Allott got married in 1988.

However, in 1992, after six years of marriage, Rice and Allot divorced.

Rice’s ex-husband Allot is a British theatrical producer and Non-Executive Vice Chairman of Cameron Mackintosh Ltd.

Allot was a member of;

1. The Cultural Olympiad Board 2012,
2. A trustee of The Foundation for Sports and the Arts 1992-2012, and
3. Is currently a Director of the Roundhouse Trust and the Soho Theatre (one of the UK’s few theatres specifically producing new plays by and running workshops with new and first time playwrights), where he was Chair from 2005 to 2019.

Allott has served on the Boards of;

1. The English National Ballet,
2. The Tricycle Theatre,
3. The Lyric Theatre (Hammersmith),
4. The Covent Garden Festival and
5. Motivation (a charity that works with local partners all over the world to improve the quality of life for people with mobility disabilities).
6. Allott is currently a Patron for the Coram Shakespeare Schools Festival and is a member of the Patrons Advisory Board for the UK / Australia Season 21/22.

Allott was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to theatre and charity.

Allott and Rice’s marriage produced two sons.
