Who Is Anne Sacoolas, Wife Of US Diplomat

Anne Sacoolas is the wife of an American diplomat who left Britain in 2019 after a car crash that fatally killed 19-year-old Harry Dunn, who was a British student and motorcyclist at the time.

Anne was accused of hitting Harry Dunn in England, while driving on the wrong side of the road.

She pleaded guilty for careless driving and for causing the death of motorcyclist Harry.

Anne had been charged with manslaughter by the British Crown Prosecution Service.

Police investigations and reports show that Anne, had been driving on the wrong side of the road before her car struck Mr. Dunn, who died at a hospital almost immediately after the incident.

Anne’s had fled from the country under diplomatic immunity, because her husband works as a diplomat for the United States.

Britain has since requested that Anne be extradited but the U.S government ignored the request.

“Any consideration related to a criminal case in the UK is a matter between the UK Crown Prosecution Service and Ms. Sacoolas and her counsel,” the State Department had said in an official statement.
