Who is Andy Richter partner, Sarah Thyre?

Sarah Thyre was married to Andy Richter for 25 years from 1994 to 2019 before they decided to go their separate ways. The couple met in 1991 while filming “The Real Live Brady Bunch” and married in 1994.

Andy Richter and Sarah Thyre have two children together, a son William, and a daughter Mercy. On April 13, 2019, Richter announced on his Twitter account that he and Thyre had separated.

Sarah Thyre was a cast member on the comedy series Strangers with Candy, on which Richter made frequent cameo appearances. Thyre is a writer for several comedy publications, including the collection “Notes From The Bathroom Line,” and also penned a memoir, “Dark at the Roots”.

Andy Richter and Sarah Thyre also appeared together playing Hansel and Gretel in an episode of the Upright Citizens Brigade sketch comedy series on Comedy Central in 1998.

In 2008, Andy Richter appeared in composer Marc Shaiman’s satirical mini-musical called “Prop 8 — The Musical” which won the 2009 Webby Award category Comedy: Individual Short or Episode, and won a GLAAD media award.
