Andrea Fuentes Fache is a retired Spanish synchronised swimmer. Andrea first competed for the national synchronised swimming team in 1999. She competed in the Summer Olympics in 2004, 2008, and 2012, winning four medals in the women’s duet and women’s team events.

Andrea announced her retirement from top competition in January 2013, citing demotivation as a result of a disagreement between the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation and the national team’s head coach, Ana Tarrés.

Andrea is the most decorated Spanish national team swimmer in history, with four Olympic medals, 16 World Championship medals, and 11 European Championship medals.
Her four Olympic medals also make her the most decorated Spanish female Olympian of all time, alongside Arantxa Sánchez Vicario and Mireia Belmonte.
Andrea is now the head coach of the USA senior national team, working alongside Reem Abdalazem. They had a pre-existing professional relationship, having worked in Syncro for four years.
