Alfred N’Diaye is a professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for the Spanish club Málaga CF and also represents the Senegal national team.

Alfred N’Diaye is said to be awaiting a “definitive diagnosis” from medics at a private hospital in the Costa del Sol resort of Marbella. However, his club officials have not offered more information on what resulted in his emergency entry into the private hospital Quiron Salud Marbella.

Alfred N’Diaye began his career with US Vandœuvre in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy. Alfred N’Diaye made his league debut in the opening match of the 2008–09 season against Lille appearing as a substitute in a 0–0 draw.
Alfred N’Diaye made his debut for the English Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers on 9 September 2017, coming on as a substitute in a 1–0 win against Millwall.
Alfred N’Diaye played for Senegal in two group-stage matches during the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament, against Poland and Japan respectively.
