Young hit a 165-yard hole-in-one on the par-3 third hole of the second round on Friday, June 17. His hole-in-one is only the 48th known in tournament history.
The remarkable shot occurred during a chaotic six-hole stretch. Young made a quadruple bogey on the par-4 third hole and then bogey on the fourth, bringing his total to +9. Then he came close to pulling off an unlikely comeback to make the cut.
