Lia Wälti is a Swiss footballer born on April 19, 1993, in Langnau im Emmental, Bern, Switzerland.

Walti has so far played for many clubs, including Nationalliga A’s club YB Frauen, and Frauen-Bundesliga’s club Turbine Potsdam.

Lia Wälti spent five seasons playing for Turbine Potsdam, where she served as captain and appeared in 97 games.

Walti’s career began at age 8, when she with the boy’s team FC Langnau, under the tutelage of her father.

She now serves as captain of the Switzerland national team, as well as the third captain of Arsenal Women.
