Who did Peter McNab Play for?

Peter McNab was a Canadian-born American professional ice hockey player.  From 1973 to 1987, McNab played 14 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks, and New Jersey Devils.

He had 813 points (363 goals, 450 assists) in 955 regular-season games and 82 points (40 goals, 42 assists) in 107 Stanley Cup Playoff games.

After his playing career ended, he immediately entered the television world, first with the Devils in 1987-88, where he won an Emmy Award in his first year. He then joined the Avalanche in their inaugural season in 1995-96 and has been with them ever since.

During his time in Colorado, he also provided commentary for notable events such as three consecutive Winter Olympics from 1998 to 2006. McNab was a major figure in the hockey world for many years, both on and off the ice.

Peter McNab died on Sunday, November 6 2022. He was 70. Peter McNab was diagnosed with cancer last year. McNab announced in February 2022, that his doctors had told him his cancer was in remission.
