Born on January 31, 1968, in Washington, Doug spent most of his playing career as a backup when he was with the Green Bay Packers.
He was also amongst the team that won a Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXI.
He played starter for the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns before he retired in 2004.
As a coach, Doug’s first team was the Eagles, where he served as assistant under Andy Reid for three years.
In 2013, he became the Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive coordinator, still under Reid.
In 2016, he was appointed head coach for the Eagles and held the position for five seasons.
Doug is one of the few to win a Super Bowl as a player and head coach.
