David Haye threw punches at Derek Chisora whilst holding a bottle in one hand. Haye later admitted to punching fellow British boxer Dereck Chisora while holding a glass bottle during their brawl in Munich on 19 February 2013.

In 2008, David Haye moved up to heavyweight, winning the WBA title in 2009 after defeating Nikolai Valuev. As of September 2021, BoxRec ranks Haye as the 12th greatest British fighter of all time.
