His first union was with Asake Bomani, whom he met during their college years at San Francisco State University in the 1960s.
Asake, an English major, and Danny tied the knot in 1975, welcoming their daughter Mandisa into the world the following year. Despite their enduring bond, the couple parted ways in 2000, citing irreconcilable differences.
In 2009, Danny found love once more with Eliane Cavalleiro, a distinguished Brazilian educator holding a doctorate in education. Their paths converged at the World Social Forum in Brazil in 2003.

Eliane, who had two sons from a previous marriage, shared a private life with Danny, focusing on their family and philanthropic endeavors.
However, the couple’s journey together came to an end in 2022, as reports surfaced indicating their separation, which was later confirmed by their divorce.
Glover is currently unmarried. His enduring commitment to his craft and advocacy remains steadfast, a proof of his resilience both on and off the screen.
