Who did Cary Elwes marry?

Elwes met photographer Lisa Marie Kurbikoff at a cook-off in Malibu, California. The year was 1991. They were cooking chili, and reportedly began dating shortly afterward. It’s not clear who won the cook-off, or if it really matters.

They became engaged in 1997, after six years of knowing each other. Three years later, on June 25, 2000, they married. Seven years after that, in 2007, Kurbikoff gave birth to their daughter Dominique at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Lisa Kurbikoff is a photographer. She worked on the TV movie Rent Control in the camera and electrical department, and as an associate producer. The production credited her as Lisa Marie Elwes.
