The Trainer must put together a team of Pokémon in the single-player modes of the main Pokémon game series in order to battle and defeat a number of non-player character Trainers and their Pokémon.

Players go through a certain area of the Pokémon universe along the game’s linear path, completing objectives and fighting enemies along the way. In this game, the player’s main adversaries are a bad gang of Pokémon Trainers.

In the majority of the games in the series, the Trainer must defeat eight powerful Trainers known as Gym Leaders in order to advance. By defeating every Gym Leader, the Trainer receives a gym badge.

Once the Trainer has earned all eight badges, they can challenge their neighborhood Pokémon League, where they will face off against the Elite Four, a group of four renowned trainers.

Once the Trainer has successfully defeated the Elite Four, they must then confront the Regional Champion, the expert Trainer who earlier defeated the Elite Four. Any Trainer who defeats the existing champion becomes the new champion.

In Pokémon Sun and Moon, as well as Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the system is slightly altered because the player competes against a variety of Trial Captains and Totem Pokémon rather than Gym Leaders.

Ash is currently unable to compare to Leon in any way. He’s arguably the best trainer in the entire world, and his Gigantamax Charizard will be Ash’s toughest opponent yet.

Who will replace Ash in Pokémon?

Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, which is scheduled to release in 2023, has already revealed its two new main characters. The two major human characters in the new television series, Liko and Roy, will each have their own Pokémon.
