Who Are The Commentators On Sky Golf?

Sky Golf has got presenters and Commentators. There is only one female presenter on Sky Golf – Sarah Stirk.

However, there are only two commentators on Sky Golf – Ewen Murray and Richard Boxali.

Ewen Murray

Ewen Murray is a former Scottish golfer turned commentator.

Murray played on the European Tour before retiring. Upon retirement, he joined Sky Sports Golf channel.

He had turned professional in 1971 and in 1977, won the Northern Open at Royal Dornoch.

Aside from the European tour, Murray played in Africa on the Safari Circuit.

He won the Zambia Open in 1980 and the Nigerian Open in 1984.

Richard Boxali

Boxall as a golf commentator, for Sky Sports started with the BBC.

He is also a professional golfer who turned pro in 1982.

He played on the European Tour until 2000, and won at the 1990 Lancia Martini Italian Open.

He had represented England in the Alfred Dunhill Cup and the World Cup of Golf as far back as 1990.

Boxali retired from the game following a leg fracture he suffered in 1991.
