Who Are Ruth Vaden And Robert Vaden? Couple Diagnosed With Dementia Go Missing

Ruth Vaden, 89, and Robert Vaden, 90, who have been diagnosed with Dementia, went missing on Friday, a situation that led to the Henrico Police issuing a missing person’s alert.

The Henrico police sought the public’s assistance in locating the elderly couple who are believed to be endangered.

The couple was last seen on Thursday around 6:30 p.m. near the 10000 block of Three Chopt Road in West End Henrico.

They are known to operate a gray, 2014 Volkswagen Passat, license plate WYP 2527.

However, the missing couple has been found safe in North Carolina, as confirmed by the Police and family members.

This is not the first time an elderly couple would go missing. Earlier in January, Margaret Flatt, 85, and Jerry Flatt, 83 who both have Alzheimer’s Disease, had left their Monroe County home without telling their family.

The couple was seen at a Florence, Ky. gas station, in Ohio.

Dementia is a disease that affects memory, thinking, and social abilities severely enough to interfere with one’s daily life. Dementia generally involves memory loss, memory loss has different causes.
