Ashleigh Barty was born on April 24, 1996, in Ipswich, Queensland to parents Josie, and Robert. Her father was a Queensland and Australian representative in golf who later worked for the State Library of Queensland.

Ashleigh Barty’s mother was a state representative for Queensland in golf who became a radiographer after retirement. Ash was raised alongside two older sisters named Sara and Ali. She attended Woodcrest State College.

Ashleigh Barty has achieved a career-high ranking of No. 5 in the world and was a top-ten player in doubles. She is a three-time Grand Slam singles champion, and the reigning champion at Wimbledon and the Australian Open.

Ash Barty was born to her parents named Robert Barty and Josie Barty. Her father was brought up in the rural North Queensland town of Bowen. Robert Barty later became a Queensland and Australian representative in golf and has worked for the State Library of Queensland.

Ash Barty’s father now works with the Australian government, while her mother is a radiologist in Australia. Her mother, Josie is the daughter of English immigrants and has worked as a state representative for Queensland in golf in her earlier life.

Following her retirement from golf, Ash Barty’s mother Josie began working as a radiographer.
