In 1951, Ford married Joan Ford at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Astoria.

They lived in Glen Cove, New York on Long Island for a period during the 1950s, and had two sons and a daughter together.
There isn’t much information about his wife as she has lived her life in privacy over the year.
