Neal Maupay signed for Premier League club, Everton on August 26, 2022, on a three-year contract with an option of a further year for an undisclosed fee. He made his debut on September 3, playing the whole match of the goalless Merseyside derby draw with Liverpool at Goodison Park.

On September 1, Brentford announced that they had re-signed Maupay on a season-long loan deal.
