This fictional world, portrayed as a moon orbiting Saturn, serves as a crucial backdrop to Thanos’ backstory. In both comics and films, Titan’s downfall due to overpopulation shapes Thanos’ drive and perspective.
Despite its namesake connection to Saturn’s moon, Titan is a unique creation within the Marvel Universe, serving as a poignant reminder of the consequences of unchecked growth and the complex motivations of its inhabitants like Thanos.

Why did Thanos hate Earth?
In the Marvel movies, Thanos isn’t out to get Earth specifically. He’s got bigger plans. Thanos thinks too many people everywhere are using up all the resources, leading to big trouble.
So, he figures wiping out half of everyone is a weird way to save the universe. Even though Earth has something he wants – the Mind Stone – that’s not why he’s picking on us.
He sees Earth as just part of the problem, adding to the mess he’s trying to fix. So, when Thanos comes knocking, it’s not personal – he’s just trying to balance things out.
