Formula 1 cars are much faster than MotoGP bikes. A MotoGP machine can accelerate like hell and reach incredible top speeds, but it lacks the downforce and braking power of a Formula One car.

The F1 car wants to spin up at 0-100kph, while the MotoGP bike can’t keep the front wheel on the ground. Both machines can currently achieve a time of around 2.6s.

MotoGP beats F1 from 0 to 200kph. At around 180kph, the electronics in the F1 car take full control, while MotoGP riders can still use the throttle.

The F1 car does it in 5.2 seconds, but the bike does it in 4.8 seconds. The MotoGP bike takes 11.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 300 km/h, while the single-seater F1 car takes only 10.6 seconds.

The motorcycle is small, but it cannot compete with a Formula One car with highly sophisticated aerodynamics.

Because of its larger tyres and improved aerodynamics, the car has much better traction. The single-seater can fly in mid- and high-speed turns, slowing from 312kph to 240kph.
