Omegle is available in over 100 languages and has users from over 100 countries, but it is particularly popular and widely used in the US, UK, India and Mexico.

However, Omegle is not operating anymore as of November 8, 2023. The founder announced the decision to shut down the website after 14 years of service, citing financial and psychological challenges, as well as legal issues and online abuse.

Omegle was subject to a variety of controversies, including illegal content, discrimination, pornography and use of the site by minors. It was also banned in some countries like UAE, Qatar and Pakistan.

How do you get on American Omegle? Before Omegle shut down, there were two ways to get on American Omegle: changing the language settings or using a VPN (Virtual Private Network).

Changing the language settings: Omegle used to pair users based on their language preferences. By default, it would match you with users who spoke the same language as you. However, you could change the language settings to any of the over 100 languages listed on the website.

If you wanted to get on American Omegle, you could choose English as your language and hope to get paired with users from the US. However, this was not a guarantee, as English is spoken by many other countries as well.

Using a VPN: A VPN is a service that allows you to connect to the internet from servers located in different countries. By using a VPN, you could change your IP address and appear as if you were browsing from another location. If you wanted to get on American Omegle, you could use a VPN to connect to a server in the US and then access Omegle from there.

This way, you would have a higher chance of getting paired with users from the US. However, this method also had some drawbacks, such as slower internet speed and possible security risks.
