Yamiche Alcindor is an NBC News journalist who has made a name for herself as a reporter, host of various news programmes and a socio-political writer.
Alcindor is a graduate of Georgetown University, and the New York University, where she studied media-related courses.
Alcindor’s first job was as a reporter at Newsday, where she worked for two years covering, the 2010 Haiti earthquake and many other events.
