Where is World Athletics Championships 2022?

The 2022 World Athletics Championships are currently being held from July 15 to 24, 2022, at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, United States.

Hayward Field is located on the campus of the University of Oregon, at 15th Avenue and Agate Street in Eugene, Oregon, USA.

Hayward Field was constructed in 1919. Hayward Field renovations began in 2018 and will be completed in the fall of 2020.

This is the first time the U.S. is hosting the most prestigious event in the sport.

Hayward Field has spacious and wide plush seats that are easily accessible via the stadium’s numerous stairways, staircases, and elevators. The stadium also has a flexible yet durable exterior that is UV-resistant and protects attendees from elements such as rain.

Hayward Field’s elevation is approximately 420 feet (130 m) above sea level, and its infield is oriented north-south.

The stadium was demolished and rebuilt on the same site in 2018. The new stadium is being funded by the University of Oregon’s philanthropic community, with alumnus Phil Knight serving as the primary donor.
