Where is Sasha Farber from?

Sasha Farber is a professional dancer best known for his appearances on Dancing with the Stars as a pro and troupe member.

Sasha Farber was born in Moscow, Russia, and immigrated to Australia in 1986. His parents are Jewish. He became a US citizen in 2020.

Sasha Farber began dancing at the age of 13. Farber, who was 17 at the time, won the Australian Youth Latin Championships twice and represented Australia at the World Latin Championships.

He also appeared in the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, as well as the second season of Australian Dancing with the Stars. He was also a member of the original cast of Burn the Floor on Broadway.

For the 29th season of Dancing with the Stars which premiered on September 14, 2020, he was partnered with One Day at a Time actress Justina Machado. They reached the finals and finished in 4th place.
