Where Is Oscar Pistorius Jailed? Can Oscar Postorius Compete Again?

Oscar Pistorius is in jail in South Africa. He faced a parole hearing to decide if he could be freed from prison and serve the remained of his sentence on licence at his uncle’s home in Pretoria. In South Africa, prisoners become eligible for parole after serving half their sentence.

On Valentine’s Day 2013, Steenkamp’s boyfriend Oscar Pistorius fired four shots through the door of a locked bathroom cubicle in his Pretoria home, three of which struck Steenkamp who was on the other side.

Immediately following this Pistorius proceeded to break down the bathroom door with a cricket bat to reach Steenkamp. He attempted to render emergency medical assistance and called for help.

Can Oscar Pistorius Compete Again?

Oscar is currently serving out his sentence, and won’t be eligible for parole until 2023. It’s possible that he could want to return to the track after he gets out of prison, but, that too, seems unlikely.
