Retired footy star, Luke Burgess, has started a new career – as a rideshare driver.

Luke, 34, who played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Manly Sea Eagles in the NRL, confirmed his new employment behind the wheel with DiDi – a direct competitor to Uber.

Born 20 February 1987, Luke was a rugby league footballer before he retired.

He last played for the Salford Red Devils in the Super League.

Luke Burgess is the brother of fellow rugby league players Sam, George, and Tom Burgess. He previously played in the NRL for the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.
