A professional football player from the United States named Heath Miller was born on October 22, 1982, in Richlands, Virginia. Heath Miller was a quarterback for the Honaker Tigers football club. He was the winner of the Region D Offensive Player of the Year title as well as the Associated Press Player of the Year honor. He was twice named to the AP All-State team.

In 2001, he started playing football for the Virginia Cavaliers in college. Miller eventually began playing the tight end position.
