Why did Arch Manning commit to Texas?
Texas quarterback coach A.J. Milwee had a big role in Arch’s commitment to Texas.
Milwee’s involvement was confirmed by Arch’s high school coach, Nelson Stewart, who affirmed that Milwee was extremely involved in Manning’s recruitment process.
Nelson Stewart said;
“I think I’ve talked to A.J. Milwee more than my wife the last two years.”
Stewart added that he appreciated the program Sarkisian is building in Texas.
Manning’s commitment could also have been influenced by Texas’ addition of four-star receiver Ryan Niblett in April 2022, which ensures a strong target for Manning to throw to.
